Hello and welcome. I’m Jim O’Brien, Founder of the Westchase Singles Club, an organization for members only.

Thank you for contacting us. We’ve had numerous requests for more information about the Westchase Singles Club. Many responses have been the result of wonderful articles written by local News Papers and Magazines as well as our great reputation. So, to insure that the Westchase Singles Club meets your personal needs, let me to tell you a little about us.

WSC was founded at the beginning of 2003 with the objective of bringing single people together for the purpose of making new friends and simply, having fun. It’s that simple. Our events are unstructured with NO pressure. We began specifically to serve the needs of Westchase residents but have allowed the geographic area we serve, to grow.
There are no membership dues. We’re the largest singles organization in both Tampa and Central Florida with over 1800 members.

There is a nominal admission fee to most monthly events. This fee is to fully organize the event, notify you of the event, insure quality singles are at the event for you to meet and minimly screen incoming members, to help insure the best possible meeting experience for you at the event.

For larger events, such as Halloween, Valentines Day and the Holidays, higher admission fees are necessary to cover increased expenses.

At a typical event, expect to find a Male/Female ratio of approximately 45/55. The age range is approximately 30 to 55+. Approximately 80% are college educated with a socio-economic lifestyle at the mid to upper level. You’ll find moderate and responsible drinkers. The divorced/never married ratio is about 70/30%. We meet monthly at local restaurants that have a bar/cocktail area. Typically we provide complementary hors d’oeuvres. To date, event attendance has been 200 to 575. Additionally, we sponsor about two to four singles cruises each year. We also conduct Dating 911 training events and Speed Dating events.

If you wish to invite someone, they are certainly welcome but please choose candidates carefully and suggest that they go through the membership process as you have done. (2) You will receive E-mail’s regarding WSC events. As an event nears you will receive additional E-mails about that event. As a new event comes on line you will receive E-mails about that event. You can typically expect about ten event related E-mails per month.
