Westchase Singles Club Member, Lin Grant builds lasting friendships - Westchase Singles changed my life! When Jim O’Brien approached me almost 4 years ago while in line at a post office, little did I know it was my lucky day. He asked if I was single, invited me to lunch, and told me about his wonderful singles group called Westchase Singles. I started attending the monthly gatherings on July 22, 2005, at Landry’s and have had a glorious time at every event since. I had lived and worked in Tampa as a State Probation Officer for 8 years at that time. I had none that I called friends outside of work and the opera chorus. That quickly changed with WCS.....

Westchase Singles changed my life! When Jim O’Brien approached me almost 4 years ago while in line at a post office, little did I know it was my lucky day. He asked if I was single, invited me to lunch, and told me about his wonderful singles group called Westchase Singles Club. I started attending the monthly gatherings on July 22, 2005, at Landry’s and have had a glorious time at every event since. I had lived and worked in Tampa as a State Probation Officer for 8 years at that time. I had no one that I called friend outside of work and the opera chorus. That quickly changed with WCS.

Instantly, and over the years, I had made several friends for life: Ray., Jim O., Jim M., Jim W. and Barb to name a few. I went on my first singles cruise for New Year’s 2006. We had such a fabulous time that I went on 3 cruises that year and have vowed to cruise with the group at least once a year!! From the camaraderie on the cruises, I made more lifelong friends in Maggie, Lee, Robert, Lon, Terri, Debi, and many more (you know who you are). So, if you are new to Westchase Singles Club, I encourage you to come to the monthly gatherings, talk to at least 3 people (including those of your same sex), and have fun!!! It is a great place to form lasting friendships. Sometimes you may even find your soul mate like our friends Carol and Jerry, and Laurie and Sam. It is so incredibly wonderful to have such good friends!! I particularly enjoy Westchase Singles Club due to the variety and caliber of people who attend the events. For the most part, they are educated, successful and good hearted individuals. It has been a pleasure to be a part of it and I thank God for Jim O'Brien, who has made it all happen. I will continue to run with this crowd until someone manages to catch me. Ha!
